Interested buyers can search millions of domains listed for sale by their owners, save searches, add domains to their Domain Watchlists, and bid for free¹ with a Sedo account. Domains purchased on Sedo’s Domain Marketplace are backed by Sedo’s Secure transfer and escrow service, included at no cost with every domain purchase.

Broker-Assisted Domain Acquisitions

Sedo charges a retainer fee of 69 USD to hire a Sedo Domain Broker.

Upon successful negotiation of a purchase and sale agreement, Sedo charges the buyer a commission fee of 15% of the gross purchase price (minimum fee applies), in addition to the negotiated price owed to the seller. The buyer may choose to further pay a privacy fee of 2.5% of the purchase price to request the non-release of the domain and purchase price.

All domains purchased with the assistance of a Sedo Domain Broker are backed by Sedo's Secure Domain Transfer and Escrow Service, included at no cost.

Domains listed for sale on Sedo's Domain Marketplace are automatically promoted across Sedo's international family of websites and SedoMLS Promotion Network based on domain eligibility². Sedo charges a commission fee for a domain listed and sold on Sedo's Domain Marketplace, determined by the promotion channel through which the sale originates and the final sale price:

There is no up-front fee to apply to list your domains in one of Sedo's Broker-Managed Auction Events, such as the monthly GreatDomains auction or special auctions.

If a domain's reserve price is met during the auction, and the domain sells, Sedo charges the seller a commission fee of 15% of the winning bid price. Commission is based on the gross price and a (minimum fee applies)

All domains sold as part of a Broker-Managed Auction Event are backed by Sedo's Secure Domain Transfer and Escrow Service, included at no cost.

The showcase service runs for 30 days. Costs are per domain and non-recurring. Showcases are available for five Sedo sites: Sedo US, Sedo UK, Sedo in German, Sedo in Spanish, and Sedo in French.

Sedo offers domain transfer and escrow service for sale agreements reached outside of Sedo's Domain Marketplace for domains not listed with Sedo.

A fee of 3% of the agreed price (a minimum fee may apply) is billed to the party who submits the order for the service. Sedo may assist the buyer and seller to each pay a portion of the fee upon request.
